Baseball Divisional Underdog Method

Baseball, unlike other sports will see a team go through many peaks and valleys.  This is due to the sheer number of games each team plays.  It is also due to the number of games played on consecutive days.  It is not unusual to see baseball teams playing 6 or more days in a row.

Thus, baseball is also more prone to streaks, both winning and losing than most other sports. 

Some baseball bettors have a rule not to bet on a team that did not win its previous game.  Although, I do not subscribe to that rule, there is at least some rationale for that train of thought when it comes to betting underdogs.

In fact, taking divisional underdogs off a straight up win, either over the today's opponent or the previous team it played, has been a very successful system over the past seasons.  The only exception where the favorites showed a profit was in 2009. 

Baseball divisional underdog betting systems are not for some sports bettors since you will lose more wagers than you win in addition to likely having longer losing streaks.  However, if you do use the baseball divisional underdog method described above, you will at the end of the season be on the plus side of ledger, which is what sports betting is all about!
